Children and Families: SPACE pilot

The 'SPACE pilot' helps children and their families who receive care from the Great North Children’s Hospital. This pioneering explores how social prescribing can support children and their families accessing hospital services

The MMHS project is delivering 4 prototype link work services in the 4 ICP areas of the NENC ICS, harnessing the innovation and community knowledge of the VCSE sector for a person centred, strength-based approach, empowering mothers and families

Suicide Prevention Network Grants 2022/23

For 2022/23, the Suicide Prevention Network Grant Scheme was managed by Ways to Wellness. Grants of £10,000-£50,000 were available to VCSE organisations for projects based in Tyne & Wear and were awarded across 5 organisations

Waiting Well: Perioperative Social Prescribing

Part of the Waiting Well programme, we support people on the waiting list for orthopaedic (e.g. hip and knee) surgery. We work with patients before and after their surgery, improving their health and wellbeing for their operation and beyond.
